My Cottage Vignette

This was fun to paint but you could spend hours tapping in color for flowers and shrubbery. It looks a little crooked in the picture but that is because it isn't standing straight in the chair. Painted in one of my favorite colors - Americana Ice Blue and outlined around the edges with my favorite Krylon Silver Leaf Pen.

  1. this is absolutely beautiful brenda!!! i really really love it and to frame it with the pink flowers makes it sooo romantic! i would love to live in a place like that... beautiful!

    I used to teach decorative painting years ago. My mother actually began to paint in the late 60's when it was just a fledgling art form and took lessons from the original founders of the decorative art society. I'm not sure , but I think she may even have a piece in the musuem. Your work is beautiful!
