What to do???

I have had this little piece of wood for more than 15 years. It was originally a Christmas tree necklace but not something I would wear. So today I finally decided to do something with it. I painted Santa on it in hopes of disguising the look of the tree. I used Triple Thick varnish and it always makes everything look so soft. I am not pleased with the cording so I will have to get with one of my beading friends to show me how to add the cording and beads correctly. Can you see the form of the tree?

  2. Honestly I have to agree, I would never have known that it started life as a tree. Great transformation.....

  3. Hi Brenda, This is fantastic and turned out beautiful as only your wonderful talent can do.
I know exactly what you mean about having an item for years and then finally doing something with it. You took something and turned it into a masterpiece. And to think it started out as a tree. Gorgeous.

I am so busy, I am seeing myself coming and going. LOL! You'd think that Christmas was coming or something!! LOL

    Blessings to you, Celestina Marie

  6. Yes, I can but only because you told me. It made an adorable pin and if you keep your secret to yourself, no one would ever know.
