Love my little chickadees...

I have my painting desk in a back room of my house which overlooks the back yard. I sit in front of the window so I can watch the birds who feed right outside the window. There are so many black cap chickadees that feed there and they are very particular, they love to pull out the sunflower seeds. I also have tufted titmouse, cardinals, a little wren and on occasion I get a bird that I do not recognize. I have decided that this year I should try my best to paint up the items I have been storing so I started with this match box. The chickadee was a perfect fit with the pretty pink dogwoods. I don't think we have pink dogwoods growing in the south but we sure have pretty white ones.

  1. Hi Brenda, So nice to see you and thank you for stopping by. I love the new look of your blog. Your painting is gorgeous and I am so inspired by your work and this wonderful Spring design. I also will keep you sweet little grandson in my prayers. He sure is a cutie.

I have been extremely busy with redesigns, painting and just about everything, but finished with the remodel. I plan to post it tomorrow and so happy to be back to full time in the studio.
I have missed you and it was such a delight to see you visit. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend and great week ahead.
    Hugs, Celestina Marie
