Pink Saturday
I love painting Santas. And I especially like painting them when I can add a little pink to his hat or the background - and sometimes his beard. This little guy has a bit of all my favorite colors - even aqua. I painted him to go inside the center of a wreath and with a pretty ribbon and a few pink poinsettias, he ended up being a gift for Dirty Santa at our Annual Christmas Party. It is a design by Shirley Wilson, one of my favorite Santa painters. The only thing missing - a pink rose. Well, darn it, I will have to paint him again and this time put a pink rose on his hat - what do you think?
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. I still have lots of shopping to do but I work well under pressure. Thanks to Ms. Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for hosting another great Pink Saturday, head on over and check out what everyone is doing. You won't be disappointed.
