Pink Saturday

I posted last week that I was having a hard time finding things to blog about so this week I decided I would paint something pink and what could be better than this pretty vintage sewing machine drawer. I found this while out antiqueing several weeks back. These are such versatile drawers - they look so pretty on a dressing table or on the bathroom vanity - very sweet and feminine. Lots of stroke work and rose buds. The color is a variation of Plum Pink. It is going to be hard parting with this but I can't keep everything so it is off to my ETSY shop.     I love your artwork, the drawer is lovely. You give me inspiration. I have been just getting into thrifting and antiquing... and the things I find are amazing... I to repurpose and sell a lot of the items I buy. I love to buy them, but again... don't have room for everything. Some I have the greatest intentions of repurposing... but if I don't get around to it.. it ends up on Ebay!

    Just love your drawer and your design is so pretty. I too love to paint these old sewing drawers or other types from old furniture. In fact, I have several to finish right now. They are so handy and useful. Your pretty drawer will not last long.
