I don't think it is ever too early to paint Christmas. I will be teaching this 6" clothespin at our Azalea City Decorative Artists painting chapter paint in next week. This is such a fun time for us. We have so many members in our painting chapter that paint beautifully and are willing to share their talents with us. You never know what they will teach next. Last month we painted very tiny ghords but we used embossing powders and the heat gun - I had never done that before and it was FUN!!
I will be adding this Santa to my ETSY shop - that's right, I finally set up a shop. Now, I don't have anything listed yet but I have started the basics. I will be offering my ornaments, personalized sign boards, lots of handpainted roses, some vintage items, and Christmas items. I am in the process of sorting through the items and taking pictures. Will add an ETSY button once I have completed the process. Thanks to Celeste (Celestina Marie Designs) who encouraged me to try this particular avenue of selling my items.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind compliment on our garage floor Brenda. Sounds we are very much alike in wondering why some use garages are used for storage only. I agree cars go in them. LOL!

Hi Brenda, Love your santa!! I am starting to paint lots of them too for the shoppe. Gourds also. Last year I did a bunch of gourds, but haven't found that many this season. Have fun teaching the class. I know it will be great.
