I have so many things I have wanted to paint over the years but never seemed to find the time to finish them all. This darling little shelf has been in my stash for a very long time, thought it needed a few pale pink roses before placing it in my ETSY shop. And the little tote, I think it held a hair dryer back in the day - some of you may recall that we had bonnet style hair dryers before the blow dryer came along. It was a brown color but of course, I painted it pink - my favorite color. And the little wild flowers on a plaque - just something a bit different but still in my favorite color. The shell may be abolone - I am not so sure even though that is what the lady told me when I found it in a yard sale. It makes a perfect soap dish, again painted with pink roses. And the little napkin holder or letter holder, needed an updated look - with pink roses of course. Pink is on my palette right now but I think I will change my colors this weekend with another of my favorite colors - lavender/purple.

Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteOh my heart skips a beat to see your gorgeous new creationg. Just beautiful. I had one of those tote when I was a little girl. I used it for overnight stays with my grandma. Adore the painting in the shell. You have been busy and everything is lovely as always.
