ECS Cottage Colors

It's Cottage Colors Monday at Etsy Cottage Style - and the color today is my most favorite - PINK!!  Since I post a lot on Pink Saturday, I won't bore you with too many repeats.  I love, love, LOVE teacups with pink roses, pink crochet items, pink shoes, pink wedding dresses, pink cars - oh, the list could go on and on.  But what I like most is painting pink roses.  Here are a few of my favorite things -

 A Christmas ornament made from a recycled chandelier bulb.
 A beautiful pink embroidered wedding gown - I loved this when I saw it on "Say Yes to the Dress".
 
 Who wouldn't love zebra heels with pink soles.  I can't even imagine wearing something so high!!
And my favorite all time car - the 1955 T-Bird - and it comes in pink.  The downside is they didn't have air conditioning and in Florida I would not survive in a car without air conditioning.  I will just have to admire it from a distance.
And my little plaque that I recently painted.  I haven't painted in oils for a while and with a very limited palette of pink, I decided to try them again.  Of course, now that I am looking at it I should have added one more rose or bud - you should never have even numbers, looks so much better in groups of three, five, etc.

    Hi Brenda, oh yeah, those shoes!! I am more than sure I would break something if I wore those gorgeous shoes!!
    Love the T-bird and what fun I could have riding around town in such finery.
    Of course I would be a princess in that dress.....oh yes I would. Loved it all, Char

    Just lovely as always. I love your light bulb ornie and enjoy this style bulb too. It can be a challenge with the surface. The T-Bird is awesome and your gorgeous plaque is so pretty in oils. I love it even without the odd number placement. We are our own worst critics when we paint.
