I am adding a few things to my giveaway. I thought you would like something from the sea. I live on the Great Gulf of Mexico in the Florida Panhandle. Our beaches are like none other that I know of - we have sugary white sands, emerald shades of water and lots of different seashells that wash ashore each year. I am adding a sand dollar ornament with a painted beach scene to my giveaway. Sand dollars can be found all along Pensacola Beach and if you are lucky you will find one that is not broken. They are also very porous so when I paint them it takes several coats of paint plus a really good varnish. This one I based in ice pink and then proceeded to paint the beach scene, a quick and easy project. I hope you will like it.
Visit thispost to sign up for the giveway which will be held on Pink Saturday, 25 June. I still have a few more things, next is the pink heart strawberry sachet. Will post pics tomorrow.
I was raised in the South - where football is every breath we breathe, flip flops are year round, we pull over to let a funeral procession pass, we don't have fireflies - we have "lightning bugs", "tatars and maters" are mandatory, "yall" is a proper noun, chicken is fried, biscuits come with gravy, banana pudding is dessert, we drink "sweet milk" and sweet tea is the house wine, and you NEVER, EVER DISRESPECT YOUR ELDERS, especially family, 'course that is Southern raising.

God Bless our Military
It is the Military, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of press.
It is the Military, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
It is the Military, not the politicians, that ensures our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
It is the Military who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag.
What my parents taught me....
Religion - "You better pray that comes out of the carpet!" Logic - "Because I said so, that's why" Irony - "Keep crying and I'll give you something to cry about". Wisdom - "When you get my age you will understand". Justice - "One day you will have kids, I hope they turn out just like you".
'When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would have not a singe bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything You gave me." '~ Erma Bombeck
